The picture above is where I am standing at the old Frostville Schoolhouse from my book Marry Christmas. The locations in the book are real but the story is fiction.
Linda Phillips is a multi-genre author whose writing spans children picture books, cozy mysteries, wholesome and faith-based fantasy, romance, and romantic suspense. Her stories are known for warmth, humor, emotional honesty and authentic detail that only comes from writing what she truly loves. Some locations are based on imagination, and a lot of her stories are located in real towns, real cabins/homes, real landmarks, and although fictional, some real-life emotions and real situations, but she will never tell which are which.
A spark of love, a tingle of a touch, breathless kisses, an outward laugh, and suspense capturing a reader prisoner with thoughts of “oh no, do I want to know,” is something she aspires to feel in reading & writing. Not to mention learning unique words that we don’t use in normal conversation: E.g.: fopdoodle; levereter (medieval words and phrases).
In honor of her husband’s death, she drives a firefighter pink convertible Mini Cooper. She lives in SW Florida, loves imagination, and loves how God used imagination in his real true stories. Like the talking donkey with Balaam in the book of Numbers. The world is a better place with chocolate, spaghetti, pizza, coffee flavors, and definitely Rambo.

I aspire to write fantastical stories that shine a glow on God, and sometimes in sneaky, little excerpts. I am working on more stories. Writing contains a sense of equanimity for me.
Linda is the creator of Tots to Friends Forever 4-book series, where three heartwarming stories emerge. The first three books introduce you to three girls that are named after towns Linda once lived, all three with separate interests and adventures. The stories are built around a philosophy for kids to just be kids, like the great Dr. Seuss’s timeless spirit. Let kids laugh and just have fun.

She deems herself the protector of her family from all monsters. The kind of fun filled with wonder that allows children to experience the joys of being a child.
Book 3, Spotsylvania ReeAnne FonzoDelgonzoFizz, another adorable girl who loves and takes care of animals. She spends her day imagining in her playtime to be one of the animals. The story allows children to experience the joys of a child’s imagination.
Book 4, FinkelyDinkelyDoo Elementary School is the elementary school the three girls meet and become best friends for life. They each keep to their own interests and grow up with a similar profession.

Chocolate, Chimpanzees & a Court Reporter at Chute Pond is a continuation of Marry Christmas, the same characters and new ones. The location is the beautiful Chute Pond in Oconto County, WI, a place Linda grew up. The story being fictitious has real locations, like Linda’s grandparent’s cabin, and real landmarks to follow. Jenny and her pet dog were a blessed real neighbor. Since you never read stories about court reporters, Linda being one for a short period of time, wanted to give them a spotlight in the literary world.
Follow Your Heart … series, a collection of wholesome romantasy, will find love down into the depths of the sea, to the stars in the heavens, beyond the stars, or to another realm.
Book 1, Moon Water, where heartbroken Hagen Bennett has to make a life decision that will change everything in every way that he knows of life.
Book 2, Dew of Heaven, a Beauty & the Beast inspired story, where three unexpected words change lives, either for the good or the bad.
Book 3, Sunsets & Dandelion Kisses, with some Sci-Fi, along with wholesome romance & sort of an imaginative way of telling the Biblical story of good vs. evil, Galaxas finds out a secret that changes her life.
Book 4, Love Scattered in the Wind, Ember Pines loses her memory and finds herself in a battle of good vs. evil, and she carries a special secret. Also the characters from Book 3 accompany her in the battle. Sort of an wholesome adult fairy tale.
The Vampire’s Consigliere is not your typical vampire story. It is inspired by Matthew 5:45, “…sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” This is a story of a young woman’s resilience due to numerous heartbreaks, a deeply moving faith-based speculative romance.
Whatever Linda writes, she brings authenticity, humor, faith, a piece of her heart, and an unshakeable belief in quiet miracles that arrive when you least expect them.
